Ibiso is an upcoming American cable and satellite television channel owned by the NBCUniversal division of Comcast. The channel would likely debut in 2026. Ibiso (not to be confused with the musician of the same name) originally was planned to be one of the names for Cartoon Network's [adult swim], as it was said to be Spanish for “stop”, but Mike Lazzo eventually settled on [adult swim] more. However, Comcast, through NBCUniversal, decided to acquire the "Ibiso" name, and plan it for an experimental adult cable television channel of their own, competing against Viacom, who owns MTV, TimeWarner, who owns [adult swim], and the Walt Disney Company, who owns XYZ.
Ibiso specializes in airing TV shows and movies from Universal Pictures that are more geared towards mature audiences, with the possibility of producing their own original programming.
